  • Which grade levels is the Interactive Robotic School Show geared for?
We have three unique school shows that are age-appropriate from Junior Kindergarten – Grade 8.

  • How long is each presentation?
60 minutes
Please allow an additional 10-15 minutes for students to enter and filter out again.

  • Show Requirements
(1) Long rectangular table, (2) chairs, access to at least (1) A/C outlet.
Please notify school custodians as well as physical education staff in advance of our attendance.
A clean gymnasium floor cleared of all equipment with the basketball nets raised if possible.
We will require the gymnasium for a full day therefore no sports activities on presentation date unless the gymnasium is equipped with a divider.
As our show is a multi-media presentation, we will also need to control the lighting for video footage and for some robots to read and distinguish objects. We supply all of our own multimedia equipment including the sound system.
We ask that cell phones be turned off during the show as it interferes with some of the robots

  • What is the optimum number of children for each show?
In order to maintain the interactive nature of our shows, we suggest that approximately 120 students attend any one of our performances. Two consecutive days of presentations are recommended for schools with over 500 students.

  • How are the students seated?
For maximum visibility students will be seated on the gymnasium floor with centre aisle left open for performers, robots, and student volunteers. We will have set up pre-assigned sections prior to students entering the gymnasium with markers indicating the presentation areas.
Instead of 'open seating' (which can often be chaotic and disruptive) teachers should arrive with their respective class and sit among them in their pre-assigned section. This way, each teacher takes responsibility for the appropriate behavior of their students.

  • How long does it take to set up and break down the show?
Robocation needs 60 minutes to set up for the performance and same to break down the set and pack those robots!

  • What is the cost?
The cost depends on the location of your school, the number of all students attending your school from JK – Grade 8.
The average cost per student is only $3.50.

  • What if buses are cancelled due to inclement weather?
In the event of inclement winter weather, Robocation will reschedule the event when all children are able to attend.
